Coventry City captain Sam Ricketts has said that the least City deserved from the game at Chesterfield was a draw.
“I thought it was a good performance, " Ricketts told the Coventry Telegraph's Andy Turner. "We dominated the game and restricted them to very little.
"I think the least we deserved was a point which we had to fight and scrap for and I thought we showed a lot of character and understanding not to force the issue too much. We tried to keep passing the ball and eventually got the goal we deserved and were pushing on to get a second.
“It was a decent goal by them. It’s always disappointing to concede from a set-piece but sometimes there’s not a lot you can do. It was a good ball in and the lad just flicked it on, so fair play to them. It gave them something to hang on to but we never stopped dominating the game and deservedly got back into it.”
