The Ricoh Arena in Coventry will stage the 2009/10 Coventry Charity Football Cup Final, it has been confirmed.
Alveston, Brooklands-Jaguar, Christ The King, Coventry Copsewood, Mount Nod Highway and Witherley are all in with a chance of making the final which will be played on Tuesday May 4th.
The Coventry Charity Football Cup, which first started in 1907 as the Coventry Nursing Football Cup, raises monies through its football competition and a number of fundraising events throughout the year. This year, a total of £10,150 will go to the nominated charities.
Tomorrow evening at the Merrick Lodge Hotel, cheques will be presented to fifteen different Coventry and Warwickshire based charities.
