David McGoldrick has said that the rent row going on between Coventry City's owners SISU and Arena Coventry Limited won't affect the decision being made by the loanee from Nottingham Forest and his agent about where his future lies.
McGoldrick proved too hot to handle for Walsall on Saturday and he told the Coventry Telegraph's Andy Turner: "We’ve had reassurances from the gaffer who has made it clear that it won’t affect things on the field.
!In respect of the boys’ wages being paid I don’t think that will be a problem so it’s between the owner and the company who run the Ricoh and I don’t see it having a bearing on my decision. Coventry are talking to me and Forest and there are things going on."
