Mark RobIns said there was a couple of good goals as Coventry City ended their pre-season with a 2-1 win at Nuneaton Town in the Nuneaton Tournament,
“There was a couple of really good goals here today," said Robins to the club website.
“I thought Nuneaton’s goal was a great goal and I thought Jodi’s was a really good finish.
“Beavon has worked hard and has looked sharp up top. Today it felt like only a matter of time until Jordan Ponticelli was going to get on the score sheet. He was unlucky today, especially when he hit the bar, in fact he hit everything except the back of the net.
“He has certainly put himself in my thoughts without a shadow of a doubt so his performance was only good news to me.
“We have got some really good technical players here who are gifted in their finishing so those goals will come.”
