Coventry City manager Mark Robins felt that Slovakian Maciej Podstavek did ok in the win over Nuneaton Town yesterday.
Robins said about the 26 year old defender who is on trial with the Sky Blues: “I think he is OK on the ball and went through his repertoire of passes early on and then ran out of steam when I was looking for him to be six foot six and wanting to go and win things.
“And he lost one or two headers, which is not what I was looking for. But he did OK.”
Meanwhile, the City boss has said that another trialist in James Pearson has a hamstring issue.
Robins said: “He has picked up another niggling hamstring.
“He was out for a while last year and these are the things that are maybe going to set him back a little bit. He hasn’t pulled anything, it’s just a bit tight so we have to make sure that’s right before we pursue anything.”
