Coventry City manager Mark Robins feels that supporters can make a difference.
Speaking to the Coventry Telegraph's Alan Poole, the City boss said: "We’ve got an important run of games coming up and we are particularly keen to play well against Preston because we want to replicate Saturday’s performance at Doncaster in front our own crowds.
“Supporters can make a big difference – you need that real connection between the players and the supporters because that’s what it’s all about.
“You always get it in away games because you’ve got that intensity when there are 800 or 1,000 fans packed into one tight area singing their hearts out.
“It’s harder to build up that atmosphere when you’ve got 10,000 or 12,000 in a 30,000-capacity stadium but you can do it if you give the fans something to cheer about.”
