Coventry City manager Mark Robins said that it was a fantastic start about his side's 3-1 win over Stevenage which keeps the Sky Blues in the play-off chase.
Robins told BBC Coventry & Warwickshire: "We spoke about coming out of the traps and it was a fantastic start and we were on the ascendancy.
"McNulty's opener went straight through their 'keepers hand. I think if he was ours I would have been disappointed but he hit it so well that is was past him before he knew about it.
"We knew what we needed to do to try and open them up as they came with three strikers and tried to be brave.
"We got a bit of a rythmn and the sending-off affected the game. It does sometimes, but it killed the rhythm but before the game, I would have obviously taken that.
"This three points puts the pressure on everybody else tomorrow."
