Coventry City manager Mark Robins feels that it's a good start as the League One fixtures were announced and saw City starting at home to Scunthorpe United before travelling to AFC Wimbledon.
The City boss sad to the Coventry Telegraph's Andy Turner: “It’s a good start for us.
“We have a home start which is good, against one of my former clubs and now we have the new season to look forward to.
“Excitement builds, we’ve had a bit of time off, but now the players will be back in next week and everybody is looking forward to getting ready for the start of the season.
“It’s nice to start off at home.
“We started at home last season against Notts County and on the back of promotion it’ll be nice and we anticipate everybody is looking forward to it.
“There will be some work going on around the training ground and we will be looking to hit the ground running and the players will be ready to start from day one.”
