Coventry City manager Mark Robins has dismissed any interest in Danny Rose.
The Daily Mail and subsequently, the Coventry Telegraph had both linked the Sky Blues with a move for the Mansfield Town striker who has scored sixteen goals in fifty appearances for The Stags as well as playing for Barnsley and Bury.
However, speaking this morning, Mark Robins told the media: "I think the speculation with Danny Rose comes from a bit of pub talk when everyone has had a few too many."
Speaking about the game against Mansfield Town tomorrow at the Ricoh Arena, Robins said:"We've looked at Mansfield and we know their qualities and strengths.
"We also know their weaknesses and hope to exploit them."
