Coventry City manager Mark Robins has said that he want to win the Checkatrade Trophy (EFL Trophy) again.
Robins was in charge of the Sky Blues who won the competition in 2017, in charge of the team which went out of the competition at the First Round stage last season and will be in charge of the team which plays their first game in this season's competition on Wednesday night.
The Sky Blues face Arsenal U21's and then Forest Green Rovers at the Ricoh Arena before travelling to Cheltenham Town in November.
Robins said about the Arsenal U21's game: “I want to win it. I want to get as far as we possibly can in the competition and win the game on Wednesday.
“Arsenal will be a different proposition to anything we have played before, so it’s going to be an interesting game.
“The players have had a day off on Monday after a long week last week when they worked really hard and we’ll be back in on Tuesday to prepare.”
