Coventry City manager Mark Robins said it was magnificent as the Sky Blues won 1-0 at MK Dons to book their place in the FA Cup Fifth Round.
With City supporters outnumbering home supporters at stadiumMK, Max Biamou sparked wild scenes in the away end with a 62nd minute goal.
Speaking to BBC Coventry & Warwickshire, Mark Robins said: "Whichever way you do it, however you win a football match, it doesn’t make any difference, especially when you’ve got the backing we’ve got. It rounds off a great day and they deserve it.
“It was magnificent, wasn’t it – absolutely outstanding. I think the supporters deserve it as much as the players for the shift they put in. They got right behind the team.
“I’m delighted – absolutely delighted. I said before the game that we wanted to be in the hat at the end of the day and we are.
“We want a big one in the next round; Man United away, that would be perfect.”
