Coventry City manager Mark Robins has said that Jodi Jones was a bit shaken up after limping off during the 1-1 draw with Peterborough United tonight.
Jones came on as 72nd minute substitute and caught his studs in the turf with his first touch of the ball. He went down first and had to wait to be treated as the physio was already seeing to Luke Thomas and then went down again before he was replaced by Amadou Bakayoko in the 79th minute.
Speaking about Jones' injury, Mark Robins said: “Really Jodi should have just put the ball out of play (because Luke Thomas was down injured) but he didn’t hear anything and was focused on what he was doing and tried to put a cross in and got his studs caught.
“And he felt a little crunch in his knee and that obviously spooked him a little bit because of what he has been through over the last 12 months, so I am hoping he is OK.
“He was all right and in better spirits than I expected but he was a bit shaken up.”
