Coventry City manager Mark Robins is keen to extend the loan of Luke Thomas from Derby County.
The midfielder is on loan until January but Robins is keen to extend that for the rest of the season.
Robins said to the Coventry Telegraph's Andy Turner: “He’s done well.
“He’s exciting on the ball and does well defensively. He’s just been really unlucky not to get a goal but there are things to work on with him as well.
“But he will be another one that when it clicks with him there will be no stopping him. But it will take him a while.
“We are talking to Derby and Chris Badlan (head of recruitment) will try to set that one up.
“But that’s something for a bit further down the line.
“There’s no rush and it depends on what they want to do. But I am quite happy to have him around because he’s done well and he’s a great kid. So we’ll see, we’ll see what happens.”
