Coventry City Manager Mark Robins said that his side did not have enough attacking quality during their 0-0 draw at AFC Wimbledon.
Attacking-wise we didn’t have enough quality, it’s as simple as that,” said Robins to the Coventry Telegraph's Andy Turner.
“I think we were only a confident finish away from winning the game. "
Realistically a point is fair
“Also, attacking-wise that’s not how we want to play, but we’ll take it at this stage.
“There’s a lot of new players, a lot of young players, too
“They’re just finding each other’s strengths and it’s going to a while for us to get up to speed.
"It’s all about confidence.
“We need the confidence to face these teams and we will get there.
“We’ve faced some difficult players today. They’ve got some really strong players with quality. They’ve been together for a few years now.
“But it will come.
"I’m pleased with a point.
“On reflection, we’ve had to deal with so many balls into the box. That’s the way they play.
“They’ve been back at this level for some time now so it was getting used to what we might face at this level, as opposed to what we had to do last season.
“Defensively I think we coped with everything."
