Coventry City manager Mark Robins has said that he is not expecting any interest in any of his players during the transfer window.
Although there were scouts from a number of clubs at City's game this afternoon against Chesterfield, the City boss said to BBC Coventry & Warwickshire when asked about any interest in his players: “No and I don’t expect any.
“Should we get one it will have to be in the right area to be taken seriously. We are not in any undue pressure so hopefully we can get through. But I do want to do some business because it’s right and it’s needed.
“We will have a really good look to bring in some players who can really help us try to get over the line this year.”
So what about players coming into the club? Mark Robins said he is close on bringing in one player and said about if anyone was coming in iminently: “No, not yet; nothing I can talk to you about but we are going to try to do some.
“We are still very close on one. It’s just waiting for the paperwork to be done."
