Coventry City manager Mark Robins is prepared for the rough and readyness of Bootham Crescent as the Sky Blues travel to York for a JPT Second Round tie.
Bootham Crescent may not be as modern as the Ricoh Arena but what it lacks in creature comforts, the City of York with its plethora of pubs and visitor attractions more than makes up for.
Speaking to Club Journalist Keiren Crowley, Mark Robins said: "We are going there and there are no real creature comforts there. It is an old style ground and we want to go and get a positive result.
"We are going to a place which can be best described as a traditional football ground. The dressing rooms aren't the biggest and they're a bit like concrete cells.
"But it is a good football club so we have to go there and know what to expect. I don't think many of our players have played there before so they should be aware of it.
"They like to play it around and at the end of the day, the pitch is flat and the grass is green so there won't be any excuses for not getting a positive result.”
