Coventry City manager Mark Robins is still after a striker as the January transfer window comes to a close.
Robins has been looking for cover for Max Biamou and told the Coventry Telegraph's Andy Turner: “I have got a target in mind but we just don’t know what’s going to happen.
“That’s Tommy Widdrington’s job and thankfully it’s someone else’s responsibility to get him in for me and if they don’t do then he’ll be having a conversation with me on Thursday morning, albeit too late by then.”
Ben Stevenson has been linked with a move to Wolves and speaking about him, Robins said: “At the moment there’s nothing to talk about. He’s our player and I hope he gets himself ready for the weekend.
“He was very close to playing tonight, really close until we got a late call to say he was ill.”
