Coventry City manager Mark Robins said that David Stockdale was outstanding for the Sky Blues in their 1-0 win at Rochdale.
The experienced keeper, joined City on an emergency loan from Birmingham City which lasts until February 14th and put in a performance which demonstrated his catching and kicking ability.
The City supporters took to him as well and there were plenty who travelled to Spotland, chanting his name throughout a performance, where he always looked confident and assured.
Speaking about him, Mark Robins told the media: “The centre-halves were magnificent on the back of David Stockdale who was outstanding.
“He does everything that it says on the tin. He relieved pressure when it needed to be relieved and the defenders defended when they needed to defend.
“The use of the ball was good for most of the game and I was pleased with the chance Jordy Hiwula took because it was a tough one to take.
