Coventry City manager Mark Robins felt his side dominated from start to finish as the Sky Blues beat Peterborough United 1-0 on CCFPA Legends Day.
Robins told the Press Association: "For us it's all about building on performances because we know what's likely to come. We've just got to try and keep improving all the time. People are playing for their futures.
"Today I think Jodi Jones' introduction in the second half lifted everybody and got us playing with a little bit more intensity. We were a little bit unlucky with some of the chances in the first half but certainly in the second half we have lifted things.
"We have got to concentrate more around the box and be more ruthless, but we've created a lot today and controlled the game from start to finish."
