Coventry City manager Mark Robins has said that the club need as much help as possible from supporters buying season tickets.
City supporters have been up in arms regarding the season ticket prices for a club heading for League Two and whether Robins, will actually have the backing of monies from the EFL Trophy Final win to add to any income from season tickets, has been hotly debated.
However, Robins said to the club website: "The only thing I can say is that everyone who buys a season ticket, it is with massive thanks. It is hard earned money, coming to watch football is expensive.
"At £299 I still think it represents decent value. I know what people are thinking, we’ve lost our status in League One and it is the same price to watch League Two, what I’d say is I’m going to need as much help from supporters as possible.
"We talk about being galvanised and being together, the good feeling that we all feel. The good will from the supporters, to try and maintain that. I need as many to come through those turnstiles as possible to try and build a successful team, not only next season but beyond that."
