Coventry City manager Mark Robins has said that he is looking forward to a better performance at Gillingham tomorrow.
The Sky Blues were awful at Blackpool on Tuesday night and Robins told the press conference:
“There's plenty of cause for optimism. The two Tuesday games have been poor, but the Saturday games have been really promising and I expect a better performance tomorrow.
“We've got good players and we've just got to try and get back to playing as we know we can.
“It’s good that we have the game tomorrow, because we can put Tuesday's game behind us and look towards a better one very quickly.
“We've had a promotion from the league below, we've got to get up to speed with the level. It’s a great challenge as there's some really good teams in this league, but our identify is paramount.
“We have to show identity and make sure that we are the Coventry City side that we know we can be.”
