West Bromwich Albion manager Bryan Robson is reported to be exploring the possibility of taking Chris Kirkland on a years loan from Liverpool.
Kirkland has struggled with injuries since he was sold to Liverpool by Bryan Richardson for a record fee for a City keeper of £9m in September 2001.
With Anfield boss Rafael Benitez looking to bring in a new number one keeper over the close season, the former ACCSCAG Young Player Of The Year winner may find his first team chances limited on Merseyside and may look elsewhere for first team football.
