Andy Rose has said that he is pleased with his goal which gave Coventry City a 1-0 win over Bradford City.
The midfielder scored his first goal for the club with his first touch after coming on as a 58th minute substitute and told Laura Hunter: “I had just come on the pitch, playing in a bit more of an advanced role. The aim was to sniff around for any loose balls, and it fell kindly and I hit it. Fortunately it went in.
“To come back in to the fold and score a goal was big and to contribute to the win I am pleased with that.
“The club is in good hands with Jamie Clapham and Tony Mowbray, they are both top quality coaches and I have really enjoyed my time under then. Six points out at the moment with three matches to go, crazier things have happened.”
