Andy Rose has said that he is relishing the challenge of trying to keep his place in the Coventry City team.
Rose who came on a substitute in the win at Blackpool said to the Coventry Telegraph: “I was pleased to get on and until you really get involved and contribute in a positive way you don’t really feel part of things. So it was important for me on a personal level and hopefully I can kick on from here.
“It takes time when you are at a new club. I knew that when I came in because there were players who have played very well this season
“So I have worked hard and that’s the challenge that I’m embracing and trying to keep my place.
"It’s difficult coming in mid season, having missed the pre-season and all that work the team did on the 4-2-3-1 system, so it’s taken time to learn that but the transition has been smooth.
“I have moved into a house with my wife, although we’re still waiting for our stuff to arrive from the States!
"My goal this year was to get into the team this season. I have signed for next year as well. I have settled in well and want to be part of this last stretch, the do or die stage which I have been involved with in teams before.
“And hopefully finding that other level at the weekend will help drive us on for the last games.”
