Former Coventry City loanee Ryan Kent could be off to Rangers according to media reports.
The Scottish side are being reported as being ahead of Blackburn Rovers, managed by former City boss Tony Mowbray who had Kent at the Ricoh Arena, in the race to take the Liverpool player on loan.
Kent was at Freiburg last season and at Bristol City, who did not play Kent often enough ad according to reports, had to pay a penalty clause to Liverpool.
Steven Gerrard, who has former City player and manager Gary McAllister as a manager, will, according to reports be able to guarantee Kent the amount of games, Liverpool require of him.
