It was felt that some of the 2,000 tickets which were given out for the Jewson Stand for that game had fallen into the 'wrong' hands. In fact, five of those involved had free Junior tickets for that section of the stadium.
As a result, Coventry City have been advised that free tickets for schools, junior sports clubs etc will now be for Block 26 and 27 of the CT Stand with the home sections of the Jewson Stand open to season ticket holders only.

It was expressed that all the incidents of trouble since City moved to the Arena had been started by City "fans" and the matches against Blackpool,Watford and Colchester which were to have been police free will now not be.
Some season ticket holders in the Jewson Stand will have to move towards the Scoreboard for the visit of Bristol City on Saturday who have sold their initial allocation of tickets and have requested more tickets.
