Coventry City manager Tony Mowbray has said that injury to Dominic Samuel is a blow to the Reading player and to the Sky Blues.
Samuel was stretchered off during Reading's League Cup win at Colchester United and now needs surgery.
Speaking about this to Keiran Crowley at this lunchtime's press conference, Mowbray said: "Mark (Venus) was at the game the other night and saw Dominic get stretchered off, it's a blow for Dominic and for us.
"I was making sure we kept in touch and we were a real options for Dominic. But that's not longer an issue and we wish him well in his recovery."
