The newly elected vice-chairman of the Coventry City Supporters Consultative Group is Sandra Garlick. Sandra was born and grew up in Coventry where she continues to live. She has been a passionate Sky Blues supporter for over forty years, attending home and away matches with her father, and subsequently introducing her two sons to Highfield Road and the Coventry City experience.
Sandra, a former solicitor, is now a business consultant. She works with businesses from pre-start through to exit, advising on business growth and strategy. She is also a volunteer mentor with RBS Entrepreneurial Spark.
Sandra has been involved in a number of groups associated with the football club in a voluntary capacity and is currently a committee member of the Coventry City Former Players Association. She is actively involved in organising CCFPA events including Legends Day, Golf Day and Celebrity Waiters Evenings.
Sandra supports Zoe’s Place Baby Hospice and sits on the Zoe’s Place Business Group. Away from the workplace, she enjoys exploring Italy, having traced her Italian roots. She is also an active follower of Coventry Rugby Club.
‘I would love to see Coventry City playing topflight football again,’ Sandra says. ‘I encourage everyone to get behind the team. And I am looking forward to taking a more active role in the SCG, working together as a team for the shared success of our club.’
