Coventry City expect to have Ben Turner back playing in the pre-season game at Kettering Town on Saturday.
Turner has been out with a knee ligament injury for nine months but is fit again and Andy Thorn told the CT: "Ben was close to playing but we have come that far with him and he is a little bit off that we have just sat on him again because there is no point in risking a set back now.
"But hopefully, Ben will be back in action on Saturday or next week."
