Sky Blues In The Community have been forced to extend the Jimmy Hill Legacy Fund campaign after reaching just over a fifth of their £25,000 target.

The fund has so far raised £5,864, £4,710 of which has been donated by SBITC and has now been extended until December 19th.

The aims of the Jimmy Hill Legacy Fund are as follows:

  • To provide activities for children and adults with disabilities (through activities run by SBitC)
  • To provide opportunities for disadvantaged children and young people in Coventry and Warwickshire (delivered by SBitC)
  • Support and increase the activities on match days in the Sky Blues Family Zone (run by volunteers)
  • To provide small grant awards to local voluntary and community organisations

All aspects of the programme will be managed and administered by Sky Blues in the Community (as a registered charity) and any funds raised will be formally identified in the charity’s audited accounts as ‘Designated Funds’
