Former Coventry City forward James Scowcroft has been released by Leyton Orient.
Scowcroft, who joined City in June 2005 and went on to make 40 appearances (plus five sub) for the Sky Blues before he was sold to Crystal Palace for £500k, arrived at the League One club in August 2009.
He had sixteen starts and fourteen substitute appearances but along with Kevin Thornton's brother Sean, has been told he is surplus to requirements by manager Russell Slade.
