Danny Seaborne enjoyed being captain of Coventry City for their 0-0 draw with Shrewsbury Town at Sixfields.
With Carl Baker on the bench, Seaborne was made captain and he told BBC Coventry & Warwickshire's Clive Eakin: "It was good. I have captained other sides before but it was nice that the manager thinks of me like that and I want to carry the team on into the next game.
"We didn't quite get the three points but it is a good place to work off and go into Walsall confident.
"We have good leaders in the team and we all want to lead the team and do well. Captain or not, I am going to be the same player. Bakes (Carl Baker), is the normal captain, a good captain and a good player as well."
