Michael Doyle made his Sheffield United debut tonight.

The Irishman, who joined Micky Adams side from Coventry City on a two and a half year deal, after learning that he would not be getting a new deal at the Ricoh Arena, played for seventy minutes for the Blades against Leicester City tonight.

However, a fourth minute goal from Andy King gave Leicester a 1-0 win and means that Micky Adams is still looking for his first win as the Blades manager.

Jermaine Grandison played his first game as a permanent Shrewsbury Town player following his move from Coventry City.

Grandison played the whole of Shrewsbury's 3-0 home win over Burton Albion.

Conor Thomas was not named in Liverpool Reserves team which won 2-1 at Prescot Cables in a Liverpool Senior Cup tie.

Craig Reid was unveiled to the Stevenage FC support tonight but due to his paperwork not going through in time, played no part in Stevenage FC's 2-2 draw with Gillingham.
