Former Coventry City manager Dave Sexton has been awarded an OBE in the Queens Birthday Honours list.
Sexton joined City as manager in May 1981 from Manchester United taking over from Gordon Milne.
A popular manager amongst City supporters and respected amongst the players, his departure to make way for Bobby Gould in 1983 sparked an exodus of players.
Sexton went on to be one of the most successful England U21 managers ever and the resident of Kenilworth is a well respected coach who now works for the FA.
