Richard Shaw hopes to be back in contention for the visit of his former club Crystal Palace on Saturday.
The defender in his testimonial year who was stretchered off with concussion in the draw at Derby last month said to the CET: "I hope to be doing some heading and ball work with the other lads this week.
"Obviously I have got the Palace game in mind now and hopefully the international break will give everyone time to let their injuries clear up and prepare for the match.
"We would have preferred to have won at Sheffield Wednesday and go into the break with points under our belt. But now we have to put things right before the Palace game when hopefully we will have near enough a full compliment of players to choose from."
