Scott Shearer has completed his move to Bristol Rovers. The keeper joined City in 2003 from Albion Rovers making his debut in the 2-0 win at Suhl.
Two drops in form saw him banished to the reserves and loaned out to Rushden. Shearer has signed a two year deal and said to This Is Bristol : "I realised last season I would have to move on and went out on loan to Rushden to get a few games under my belt, which was successful for me.
"When I heard Rovers were interested in me, I came down to meet the manager and have a look at the facilities, then it was just a question of sorting the paperwork out. "Coming from Glasgow, I'm used to big cities and so I hope I'll feel at home here.
"The team played really well against Rushden last season and looked good in the second half last night, so hopefully we can be up there pushing for promotion."
