Out of favour and out of contract Coventry City defender Elliot Ward is attracting interest from several clubs.
Doncaster Rovers are keen on winning his signature, he played for then on loan last season and has more than proved his worth to the club. Donny manager Sean O'Driscoll had previously said to the Star: "Elliott did well for us in the month that he was here on loan and we are obviously monitoring his situation. He is currently talking to four or five clubs."
"Our hat is in the ring because he doesn't need to come here and me try to persuade him to join us because he came here and did well. If I was a player I'd look at all the other options and that is what he is doing at the minute."
"I think the fact that he has been here helps us more so than the boy. You couch things up how you want in football, but it all comes down to money."
The latest club to be linked with Ward is Sheffield United, who are thought to be talking to Ward's agent about a possible move to Bramall Lane.
The Blades manager Kevin Blackwell is keen to add to his defence before the start of the new campaign and is looking at the 25 year old as a possibility.
