Sheffield United Stay In Championship

An independent panel set up to investigate Sheffield United's claims for West Ham to be docked points for the transfer of Carlos Tevez has decided that the Premier League was right on two counts and Sheffield United will stay in the Championship.
The three man committee agreed that the punishment of a fine rather than docking points issued by the Premier League was correct although they sympatised with the South Yorkshire club.
City play Sheffield United at home on December 1st and away on Tuesday March 11th.
