Former Coventry City midfielder Tim Sherwood has landed a part-time coaching role at Tottenham Hotspur.
Sherwood joined City from Portsmouth in 2004 and passed a controversial medical before signing a two deal and getting the captaincy under Peter Reid.
The former England international made ten appearances plus one substitute appearances but again succumbed to injury and was eventually paid off by the City Board.
Sherwood has been appointed by new Spurs boss Harry Redknapp and told the BBC that "he was pleased to have the opportunity to be involved at a great club"
