Jordan Shipley has said that Mark Robins wants the Coventry City players to go out and attack.
Shipley, scored the third goal for the Sky Blues in their 3-0 victory over Boreham Wood and told the club website: “It was good, they’re a good side (Boreham Wood) to be fair and we struggled first half I thought, but as soon as we got the goal I thought we came into our own and did well.
“The gaffer wants us to go out and attack teams and to not be afraid to go forward and create chances and take shots and that’s what we did today and we was rewarded with three goals.
“Two times in games before the ball has flashed across goal and I’ve not been there and we’ve had a look at it and now I’ve got the goal by being there, as our analyst looked for it beforehand.
“I thought someone was going to get there before me but it’s come to me and I didn’t think too much about it and put it in the net.”
