Shoebridge For City's Game At Ipswich

The currently appointed referee for Coventry City's Championship game at Ipswich Town on Saturday is Rob. Shoebridge from Derbyshire.

The 31 year old Operations manager, started refereeing in 1989 and came through the Central Midlands and Northern Premier leagues before being appointed to the national list of Assistant Referees in 2003. This is his third season as a National List Referee.

This will be his tenth game of the season. His last was Middlesbrough's 2-2 draw with Portsmouth. He has shown 17 yellow cards and two reds and his games this season have included Ipswich Town's 3-2 League Cup win at Exeter City.

His last City game was the 1-0 home win against Doncaster Rovers on December 26th 2009. Other City matches are the 1-0 defeat at Doncaster on August 30th 2008 and the 1-0 win at Cardiff City on August 25th 2007.

The Assistants are John Busby from Oxfordshire & Wes Linden from Middlesex. The Fourth Official is Glenn Hambling from Norfolk.
