Marton Fulop has again said that he wants to continue to be a Coventry City player. With news that Spurs have extended the loan deal of keeper Radek Cerny until the end of 2008 as prolonged cover for Paul Robinson, Fulop looks to have no place in the Spurs side.
Speaking to the CET,the Hungarian said: "I am waiting for the offers to come but Coventry is my first choice and is the club I want to join. "I really enjoy it here because everyone has been very nice to me from the gaffer to Seamus (McDonagh), the goalkeeping coach who I work with, and the team are great with me too, so I owe this club.
Sign Me Says Fulop
"I feel that I can show myself here on a regular basis and if I could have a wish today it would be to join the club. "I do have another year on my contract but I have made it clear to Spurs that I don't really want to be on the bench or third choice keeper.
"I want to play games and I just hope they will give a reasonable price for Coventry. "I don't have a crystal ball so I can't see what Spurs are thinking.
"I haven't spoken to Martin Jol but I have spoken to Hans Segers, my coach, and he was a goalkeeper and he understands my situation 100 per cent, and I hope that because Paul Robinson is doing so well for the club that they allow me to leave in the summer."
