John Sillett has again offered his services to the club in a bid to stave off relegation.
The former City manager who was involved in the selection process to pick Micky Adams told the CET: “I still love the club and will do anything I can to help if they ever need me.
“I have got a good relationship with the chairman and the board and the manager and if Micky wants me at any time I will be there.
“I have seen a lot of football over the last few years and, although I have been working mainly in the Premier League, I have built up a good knowledge of players.
“I have good contacts as well. If Micky wants a young player from Manchester United, for example, Fergie is a good mate of mine.
“So if there are ways I can help Micky then I will be more than happy to.”
