Former Coventry City reserve teamer Donovan Simmonds has signed for Dover Athletic.
The striker who finished as joint top scorer for City Reserves but did not get a first team start either under Iain Dowie who signed him or Chris Coleman who released him, had been at Nuneaton Town but has been training with Dover and opted to sign for them.
Martin Hayes who was on loan at City in 1991, playing only a handful of reserve games, is manager of Dover and told his club's website: "Donovan has been training with us this week and we've been impressed. We needed to bolster the frontline.
"I see Donovan as someone who will create a lot of chances for us. He has pace and will be someone the fans enjoy watching."
