Former Coventry City forward Robbie Simpson is being allowed to train with Oldham Athletic.
Simpson was due to return to Huddersfield Town after his three month loan at Oldham Athletic had ended but Huddersfield boss Lee Clark has said that Simpson is was free to train with Oldham until the transfer window opens on January 1st.
Simpson is expected to join Oldham permanently and Oldham boss Paul Dickov told the Oldham's club website: "It is a positive sign that Robbie wants to train with us.
"I would like to think we can sort something out.
"First Robbie has things he needs to sort out at Huddersfield. Once that has been done hopefully we can sit down with him."
