Sinclaire Voted Out

Nikki Sinclaire has been voted out of office as an MEP in the 2014 European Elections.

Sinclaire, a Liverpool/AFC Wimbledon supporter had taken up the cause of Coventry City supporters who were angry at the club being moved to Northampton but was refused a meeting with Coventry City Council.

Tonight, Sinclaire (pictured above) who moved from UKIP to the We Demand a Referendum Now Party, was forced to concede defeat and said in a statement: "My employers have spoken, and it would seem I have been unsuccessful in my attempt to be re-elected as an MEP for the West Midlands region."

In the West Midlands, UKIP polled 271 354 which was 30.65% of the vote and were followed by Labour with 269,102 and Conservatives with 195, 167. Sinclaire's party polled a total of 15,118 which was 1.71% of the vote.

In Coventry, the voting was as follows:
