Coventry City CEO Tim Fisher has denied that SISU have been asset strippers and have been funding the club since they took over in December 2007.
Mr Fisher, who appears to have landed the CEO role on a full time basis after taking it on an interim term, wrote in an article for the CT: “The constant accusation of asset stripping is totally untrue. and, indeed, unfair when you take into account that Sisu has continued to fund the club.
“For the avoidance of any doubt, Sisu has not taken any dividends or capital repayments from the club. It is only because of the constant funding and finacning by the owner that Coventry City remains a going concern.”
