Football League Chairman Greg Clarke has said that as far as he is concerned SISU have the funds to ride out any losses from supporters staying away whilst the team plays at Northampton.
SISU have budgeted for those staying away and appear to have the funds to be able to cope with the increase in policing and stewarding costs, some of which is needed to protect Tim Fisher, who had three stewards minding him on Sunday (pictured below), as well as those who actually go to the games at Sixfields not spending any money on food or drink or merchandise, or those boycotting such things as the club website, which is part of the debenture owned by Avro Trust.
Although, Mr Clarke would not reveal to the Coventry Telegraph exactly what the proof of funds actually was, he said: “Sisu Capital have the assets to run this football club for as long as they want to. They are not short of money.”
