Lord Justice Bennett has said that SISU have no grounds to appeal against the Judicial Review verdict.
Coventry City's owners had wanted to appeal but according to a court order, Lord Justice Bennett said that “I do not consider that there is a realistic prospect of demonstrating that the judge’s conclusion that the loan was not state aid was wrong.
“For the reasons given by the judge, they would not. I do not accept that this ground has a real prospect of appeal.
“Whilst the appellants suggest that there is a compelling reason for the state aid argument to be considered by the Court of Appeal in any event, I am un-persuaded."
Sisu have since said that they will be looking for an oral hearing.
