Coventry City manager Mark Robins has told the Coventry Observer that the Sky Blues have six cup finals left as they return to league duty with a trip to Sheffield United tomorrow night.
“I said when I started the job here that we had 12 cup finals to play. We now have six cup finals to play," said Robins, who is trying to give his players as much time as possible to recover from the game.
“It will interesting to see how we react post-Wembley.
“There are players that will be looking to play for their futures. Some may want to stay here, some may be looking to play elsewhere. It’s not that important to me at the moment. What’s important is they go again and give 100 per cent.
“It’s been a massive high then crashing back down to earth. There’s an important game at Sheffield United. We have to move on quickly mentally.
“They’re going for promotion and we need the points for obvious reasons.”
